Radient Body

10th Body – Radient Body

wlUB6lTL_NQAF8EGaXNqPuGZHfyOmSH4WcMSnIsMv8sFP-fWw4D7eRcLLerIZEfbmJoQ8A=s85The Key phrase for the Radient Body is:

“All or nothing. Creative Consciousness”

Key Question: “Will I allow myself to be creative and courageous?”

When you are strong in your Radient Body you will be highly creative and tuned in.  You will have the ability to act in spite of fear.  You will have the ability to manifest excellence and exceed your own expectations.  You are radient and royal.

Commitment

One way to strengthen your radient body is to be committed.

Commit to yourself

Commit to a partner, commitment to marraige

Commit to the future of the planet

Commit to a spiritual path, to your Higher Self and the growth of your higher awareness.

Commitment builds character. Character builds dignity. Dignity builds divinity. Divinity brings you grace. Grace brings you the power to sacrafice.  The power to sacrafice brings you happiness.  This all starts with commitment and builds our radient body.

Sunlight Yoga – Feel the happiness 6-7.30pm Mon 30 May @Prana Lounge

Sunlight the Science of Yoga

Light is found in two forms waves and particles. Waves are what we see and particles (photons) are invisible. When you tune in to your higher consciousness, your brain creates a direct connection with these photons through your pineal gland and your 7th chakra the crown centre. The crown centre is governed by the tiny pineal gland which is responsible for brain activity and sleep patterns. The Pineal is controlled by the cycles of the sun. It secretes melatonin which is responsible for sleep quality, dreams and positive or warm and sunny disposition, whereas serotonin is responsible for energy levels and happiness.

When you tune and activate this gland which shrinks in humans after childhood, we do not feel rushed, we feel calm, there always enough time and energy. That is why children have a completely different sense of time to adults. When you feel calm and you have all the time in the world, you sense that you’re equal to your situation. Which in turn allows you to open up to find the solution to all your problems and fears.

Practical

The pineal gland when activated is nurtured and stimulated by light photons, even on a cloudy day, it literally feeds on light. You activate the pineal through deep meditation, dreaming and consciously focusing on and tuning into your highest thoughts. Your eye focus can be at your crown when meditating.

How do you know if you have a blockage in the pineal gland?A person with blocks in their Pineal always believe they can solve a problem and never want any help. They think that they have total control i.e. they believe in some capacity that they are God. This person will also be overly logically and believe that intuition has no place in daily life. Logic is important, but sometimes life isn’t completely black and white and the data doesn’t tell the whole story. This person can be very narrow minded and not open to other diverse suggestions. They will have trouble thinking outside of the box.

Take time out in your day to deeply meditate, tune in to your higher self and turn on the pineal gland to shift your sense of time. Check in with yourself if you feel your being over intellectual and blocking your pineal gland.

To balance the pineal gland, sit inbetween your heals. Make fist with your hands but first place the thumb under the little finger (mount of mercury). Now rotate your fist over each other very fast at heart level. Continue for 1.5 mins. To end inhale hold the breath, close your eyes and look up at your crown, exhale and relax. Yogi Bhajan’s Practical Science of Yoga

yogi bhajan cool

Having watched Yogi Bhajan’s teaching on YouTube LA889, I thought it would be fun and also useful to disseminate some of his practical yogic wisdom to you in his words. Try some or all of these tips for good health because this is what yoga is really about. Yogi Ji says, “Yoga is great because it can help us cure sickness, depression, it can help you with weight problems, it can help you in your daily life, it teaches you daily involvement with your body and mind. I especially like Kundalini Yoga because it is short and effective and it is for house holders. You do not have to remain celibate. It is a very human yoga”.

Food and how to eat?

“The best alternative medicine is good food and daily naps. Food is your insurance for health.

Eat little and drink little every 2.5 hours. We must chew our food. The main diseases start when food goes into your body, unchewed which is unsweetened by our saliva. We must train ourselves to chew.” Chew each mouthful at least 35 times. You will have less gas, your food will give you more nutrition and you will feel full and satisfied with much less food. If possible eat in peace and quiet, concentrating on chewing your food and tasting the flavour.

Waking up Routine

“Just like a cold car that needs to be warmed up before you put it into gear. The body is the same, it is at rest at night and needs to slowly be stimulated before it starts going. So do not just jump out of bed if you want to remain healthy. There are things to do in the morning every day. It is your body which is asking for mercy, kindness and compassion and care. All you need is a good vital and healthy body to give you enough strength to face the day.   When you wake up to prevent back pain you need to do cat stretch 3 times on each side and then adjust your navel energy by doing stretch pose. Then move the feet up and down to adjust the meridian points in the whole body.” Now get out of bed and have a cold shower (see Ishnaan).

ishnaan

Ishnaan – hydrotherapy

“Technically it is called mercy. You do not have any mercy for yourself, you look after your car, or your house but you do not look after yourself. You need to go into the shower and massage yourself all over balancing your hydro level in the water, which is required. Stand one foot on top of the other and massage them, massage the inside of your forearm, underneath your armpits and your chest. Vigorously massage your whole body. Now dry your body by rubbing hard with a course towel until your skin is pink to increase blood circulation in your skin, so your skin will remain youthful.

You do not drink enough water in the day. You need to urinate properly. When you begin to urinate you need to stop and start, several times. This will exercise the muscles of your pelvic floor and keep them strong. This is like mulbhand.

Now brush your teeth in the morning, at the end you need to take your toothbrush to the back of the throat and clear your monkey glands. They hold all the bacteria you have taken in during the day and night. This mucus must not enter your stomach. Gad that mucus out.”

Deep Sleep

“If you want a deep sleep you need to splash your eyes and face with cold water before you sleep.”

Head and Hair

“Massage your scalp with your fingers, then roll a towel on the hair and tighten it around the head so all 26 bones come together daily. Just for a few minutes.   Also deeply comb your scalp to change the electromagnetic field.”

Prevent Water Retention

“Get a wet towel wring it out and beat your back, it balances your sugar and salt intake. It prevents water retention, spank your back and the kidneys become stimulated and balanced.”

Knee and Ankle problem

Stand up on your toes and sit down a few times, this will stop you having problems with knees and ankles.

Practice this Week:

Sunia(n) Antar Meditation

*DRINK A GLASS OF WATER FIRST*

SIT. Easy Position (legs folded).

EYES. Closed, rolled to 3rd eye (brow) point.

MUDRA (HANDS). Place arms across the chest and lock hands under armpits, with palms open against the body. Raise the shoulders up tightly against the earlobes without cramping the neck. Pull chin into neck.

BREATH. Automatic, natural and slow (or count for five in, five out, until it slows).

TIME. 3 to 11 minutes.

YOGI BHAJAN COMMENTS. This meditation is called Sunia(n) Antar. It is very good for women. It is essential at times when one is worried or upset and doesn’t know what to do, or when one feels like screaming, yelling, and misbehaving. When out of focus or emotional, attention should be given to the body’s water balance and breath rate. Humans are approximately 70 percent water, and behavior depends upon the relation of water and earth, air and ether. Breath, representing air and ether, is the rhythm of life. Normally we breathe 15 times a minute, but when we are able to rhythmically slow down the breath to only 4 breaths per minute, we have indirect control over our minds. This control eliminates obnoxious behavior, promoting a calm mind regardless of the state of affairs. When there is a water imbalance in the system, and the kidneys are under pressure, it can cause worry and upset. Drinking water, pulling the shoulders up to the ears and tightly locking the entire upper area creates a solid brake that can be applied to the four sides of the brain. After 2 or 3 minutes, thoughts will still be there, but one does not feel them. This is a very effective method of balancing the functional brain.

Gong the sound of Healing – 21 May 6-7.30pm Sri Yoga Shala, Galle

cd623bc90a1d697dc3c6f88c27ac540f

The ancient Greeks, Egyptians, Navajo Indians and Vedic texts mention Gongs being used as a healing instrument.

The gong works on changing our frequency. Everything in the Universe pulsates or vibrates at its own frequency. For example, emotions such as love and fear have specific frequencies. In 1665 a scientist discovered Entrainment. If you put a group of pendulum clocks all on the same wall, all moving at different times, in a few hours all their movements will become synchronised. Entrainment happens when variant frequencies in the same vicinity all change to reflect the highest frequency in the vicinity. This is what the Gong does, it changes the frequencies or vibrations in our body and mind to match its own high frequency. The Gong contains all the sounds in the Universe, it’s frequency is the sound of creation itself.

In life when we deny our challenges, get stuck in anger or fear or decide to ignore the problem, we create blocks or dissonance. These blocks tend to create stagnation and finally dis-ease in the body and mind. The Gong’s use of overtone frequencies break down these blocks and then the gong brings the body back to balance, stability and resonance during the soft notes.

Breath is the Foundation to Health – 6-7.30pm Kundalini Yoga Mon 16 May @ Prana Lounge, Col7

Breath is the Foundation of our physical, emotional and mental health.

Breathe correctly and we think more clearly, breathe correctly and we feel healthy and vital. Around 1/3 of all adults breathe incorrectly.

The most common error is to inhale into the chest while lifting up our diaphragm. Physiologically this is called paradoxical breathing because we try to expand our lungs as we reduce the chest cavity space by our diaphragm pushing up like an umbrella into our chest cavity. The result of this breathing is:

  1. Fatigue
  2. When exercising you can become dizzy
  3. Out of breath and gasping for air from the mouth
  4. Lack of vitality

Paradoxical breathing is like trying to run a race on crutches, it gets tiring. All this incorrect breath sends the wrong codes to our brain therefore our nervous system, ability to cope with stress and hormonal system, emotional coping, get out of synchronisation.

Our breathing reflects and effects what we have learnt and our emotional experience. It is therefore vital to regularly take our breathing off automatic pilot and take conscious charge of it.

When we breathe unconsciously or on autonomic functions, our breathing is controlled by the subconscious mind — a portion of the mental body system you have very little access to. Autonomic functions also generate every emotion, feeling-signals that are sent to the brain to produce thoughts describing the nature of each moment and prescribing a response. This is why you often have no control of your emotions arising from the subconscious. The subconscious occupies seventy-five percent of the total mental body because there’s a tremendous amount going on in the physical and the resulting emotional worlds . . . most of which you are never aware of. But remember the one physical function you control is your breathing. Breath can become a gateway, a pathway into your subconscious mind . . . the area with so much control of your life. Throughout history it has been known to every master that working with the breathing and subconscious mind is a way of mastering life — control how you feel, and you can control how you react/respond to everything. Co-manage the breath and you co-manage the direction of the subconscious mind, the feelings, the emotions and resulting thoughts, the reactions, the expectations . . . the very road and direction of your life.

Practical

Let’s try a small experiment using our conscious control of breath.

  • Close your eyes and now take a deep slow breath in through your nose. Now exhale through the nose rapidly. Do this 5 times, how do you feel? More energised?

Now reverse this, take a short, quick breath through your nose and then a long exhale through your nose. Once again do this 5 times. Do you feel more relaxed?

  • Your homework is to sit and observe your breathing as often as you can; share the impulse ‘to breathe’ and watch how it releases the control of how you feel, think and act. Become the one who is co-managing your world and do this often — at least for some minutes every day . . . it will change your life for good.

What is Real? Really? Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Classes

teenage yoga class

Have you ever just had a moment where you feel so over whelmed or uneasy that you do not know what to do next? Well I had one of those moment on Sunday morning. I just sat there thinking why an earth do I feel so terrible, when nothing is wrong. Well my brain did what brains do when it’s unable to explain what it is right in front of you or what you are feeling . . . it improvises.

The brain will try to make sense of any situation that has zero sensory input, or that has an overwhelming sensory input . . . it will make something up. It will try to explain the zero-sense with common-sense. This happens when you experience a gong bath for example. The vast overtones you hear are mentally unexplainable; your brain makes up a story to compensate for the sensation that’s incomprehensible, and or intolerable . . . Both an overwhelming sensory presence and complete sensory absence will cause this.

There’s a substance that science is experimenting with, called vantablack, made of carbon nano-tubes. It absorbs all the light that strikes it, it’s the blackest of black. In both these situations they reflect nothing . . . you see nothing. There’s no place on the surface of the Earth that’s capable of this phenomenon . . . only deep-space, the deep-underground, and carbon-crystal nano-tubes or vantablack. Physical vision works by sensing reflected photons (light particles) from all objects; your brain uses this light to mentally construct the world you experience. When no light is reflected, and you’re unable to experience the outside, you draw imagery from inside. You call this imagination, but it’s really always mixing with your physical sight. A bit like Harry Potters invisible cloak. This is the nature of your senses — they’re not exact — they’re estimates; always compensating for lacking data with imaginary mixtures of opinions and conclusions . . . fables of the present.

Practical

1.Watch your mind and emotions this week, keep a journal that notes how — not real — reality is; relax your preconceived ideas about what you think of people, likes and dislikes, opinions.

2.If your mind gets fixated on a problem or situation or sickness, visualise this as a point, now mentally turn your head and look behind it. See 360 degrees of space which can be the solution, space of health, etc. the polarity that also exists in the same moment as your problem. Just acknowledging that this other space exists is enough to resolve any situation.
