Having completed 5 days of a deep, detox and spending time rejuvenating myself from within. This week we will focus on opening up to life especially through the breath and understanding the anatomy of depression or negative feelings.
Yogi Bhanjan says that depression is a symptom of shallow breathing and locked pelvic area. He says that people are mistaken in thinking depression and negativity are a result of mood or circumstance. He encourages people to do a heavy breath from the navel point to move negativity or depression very fast.
Try lots of deep breathing starting from the pelvic floor and breath of fire this week, to counter any negativity in your thoughts and emotions. Start with 3mins daily, but if possible extend this up to 31 mins.
